Good news! Startup Accelerator made its media debut in Tim Keane's blog www.timkeane.org. Tim Keane is the current Entrepreneur in Residence at Marquette University, in the Colllege of Business Administration. In Fall 2007, he was named Director of the Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship, a cross campus initiative of Marquette University. He founded and sold a CRM company, Retail Target Marketing Systems, Inc., before which he worked for GE Healthcare in Milwaukee. He has invested in a wide range of private companies and sits on a number of company boards. I met Tim in person last month at the Downtown Milwaukee Inventor's Forum, hosted by patent attorney Jill Gilbert Welytok and Absolute Technology Law. Tim spoke on boot-strapping to a full house (you can download his powerpoint at the ABT website). The event was lively, engaging and...packed. The next Downtown forum will be held March 3. They served German chocolate cake at the event last month so get there early... BTW...I should mention Jill co-authored a book with Louis J. Foreman, The Independent Inventor's Handbook, published in 2009.
