As a second generation WIRED region, the seven county southeast Wisconsin region, including Milwaukee and Kenosha, accounts for nearly one-third of the state's residents and jobs. Through the WIRED model regions integrate economic and workforce development activities and demonstrate that talent developmnet can drive economic transformation in regional economies across the United States.
